Terrible C-movie with bad writing (including dialogue), at best stilted acting, scattershot editing, and a cheap looking production (guessing filmed using a digital camera). The only plus I can say is one specific fight sequence was alright, and superficially at least Natalie Burn was hot. Otherwise, this seems like the horrible movie one would find on Amazon Prime... **1.25/5**
Was this a movie? Not too sure... So uncomfortably edited. Has a pretty recognisable cast, but they don't come together to do anything entertaining. I'm not too surprised that this was the case, but I'll say it anyway _Acceleration_ was one of the least engaging movies I've watched all year.

Vladik Zorich (Dolph Lundgren), crime lord whose tentacles permeate the underbelly of a seedy Los Angeles as he deals in guns, gambling, drugs and skin trafficking, finds himself double-crossed by his most trusted operative Rhona Zyocki (Natalie Burn). Vladik's propensity for power, control, and violence drives him to kidnap Rhona's young son, forcing Rhona to participate in a planned elimination of Vladik's enemies and identities. As her son's life hangs in the balance, Rhona struggles to find and kill Vladik's most violent and twisted foes and regain valuable goods and information, all in one fateful night.

**A night before the play!**

It is my personal opinion that I did not find the film any good. There's nothing new in it. Even those who haven't seen many films could name a couple of similar films. The best ones. The worst part was, in horror films, ten guys go in and only one comes out. Sometimes none. The found-footage presentation was okay for such concept. The film was short and one day event based. Most of the story was on the night in an auditorium. The initial part had fair space to kick-start the tale with a simple intro. And then the following event did not stay up to the buildup.

The basic storyline itself was very weak. The characters, and their behaviours, all easily gives out the upcoming scenes. So predictable, even the twist was ordinary. The way it ended was worse than ordinary. I felt the final scene with the cops was totally unnecessary. There's nothing wrong with the actors. Even filmmaking was acceptable. But I don't know how the production company okayed the screenplay. One of the low cost film, but earned better. Despite not received well by all the quarters. I would always encourage such small films, but I can't suggest it.

20 years after a horrific accident during a small town school play, students at the school resurrect the failed show in a misguided attempt to honor the anniversary of the tragedy - but soon discover that some things are better left alone.

Reminiscent of films like _Excision_ and _May_.

**Incomplete lessons and unexpected events of a girl's life!**

The film story has a deeper thought than just what you see it as a psychological drama. Everything is simply like what the title says. A young woman grew up in an isolated farmhouse with her father without many visitors. But her interest in the eyes came from her mother who was a surgeon killed by an intruder. So her character was built on those circumstances and where her future head is to come in the later parts.

The concept looked much better, but the film was too slow, even though it was a little shorter than the average film runtime. It is also a black and white film, and looked fine for such theme. Even though there were not strong gore. Limited cast and shot most of the parts is a single location and its surroundings. So it is a small budget film with good casting. But I'm having a mixed feeling for it. I think some would like it, and some wouldn't, but the majority would be like me stand in the middle. So I conclude saying it is an okay-okay film.

Young director, Nicholas Pesce wanted us to watch a movie with the eyes of the psychopath he has created. So we see a dark horror film with so much emptiness everywhere across the film. But personally, what I never forgive, is when characters act absurdly. I am talking about the father, mother as well as their daughter. Her mother performs surgery of a head of a cow and teaches her little daughter about eyes. I am now sure how appropriate for a medical practitioner to behave in such a way in front of a child.
After a psychopath kills the mother, we see the father becomes depressed and the child cleaning blood - taking care of the imprisoned psychopath in an unkind, psychopathic way. So that means this girl was born without empathy, kindness and all those basic human attributes.
From this point, I am convinced both the father, the mother never behaved like normal human beings.
And I don't want to think about what goes on in this film, how this little girl maintains a daily life.
In the end, even we saw police cars straight heading to the insane psychopath's house. I was thinking, a woman, lived years in such prison, who we found in a scene she has become speech impaired, somehow able to tell the exact place under couple of hours of being rescued.
Another unusual yet terrible thing is when the insane psychopath, who I absolutely have no sympathy for, when was performing rough surgery, the victims didn't even scream. I really cannot imagine what was in the director's mind before making such a story or scene.
We see full shots, sometimes narrow shots through windows, or typically entrance of doorways. I appreciate the cinematography and the way it is directed but there is nothing new about it that we haven't seen before and nothing good about it that we haven't felt before.
A young, lonely woman is consumed by her deepest and darkest desires after tragedy strikes her quiet country life.

[HD] The Stanford Prison Experiment 2015 en Cine

**Be cautious about what you're signing for!**

Do you remember the Kubrick's film 'A Clockwork Orange', well, I'm not saying it is the same or similar film or storyline, but it reminded how it affects those people who are involved in a similar kind experiment. This is not too violent like that film, but it has its share where some might feel uncomfortable. Except in the opening and some other parts, the entire film takes place in a single location, most likely a studio setting. That part was well done, including the screenplay and direction. One of the rare films, about the rare subject, in some way it is a must see, but seems not suitable for everyone.

It is a nice concept, but it was based on the real. It all begins when a university professor decides to conduct an experiment in the summer holiday where some students came forward to be the part of it. It is a two week long project, so the first day goes off well and then the real problem begins when a small incident leads to a series of others in the following days. How the remaining days goes and what were the results of the experiment is disclosed in the later parts.

There are many edgy events; I thought it might get ugly at some point of the narration, but stayed real and ended with a good intention. It is a collection of good performances, everyone did their parts well. Particularly those student cast. Not many of them are famous, but the film provided quite an equal share of screenspace. It is not just an entertaining film, a character study as well. First of all, it is not a usual story, so if you decide to watch it, expect accordingly. I think it is a good film to give a try for once.

Another very worthwhile production of a chilling real life experiment.

The Stanford Prison Experiment makes for compelling reading/viewing, whichever format you choose to partake in, it's science gone bonkers and has the power to chill the blood. Did we need another film version? Especially since Das Experiment (2001) is an outstanding film and clearly the one that is recommended as a first port of call on the subject?

As it is this Kyle Patrick Alvarez directed version is special as well, managing to get under the skin whilst being vivid in detail. Not just for 1971 period accuracy (clothes/social traits et al), but across the board characterisations as it's well written and performed.

Not recommended for those who may be down on the human race, or for those obviously after a good time. But good film making is worth time investment - as is eye opening of the human condition. 7/10
This film is based on the actual events that took place in 1971 when Stanford professor Dr. Philip Zimbardo created what became one of the most shocking and famous social experiments of all time.
